A gem in Salento

Staff always available to advise and provide tips. The view is amazing, and there is a sense of cosiness in the building and familiarity in the atmoshpere. Breakfast is superb and with many options

A fantastic lodge set in a beautiful place

Beautiful lodge close enough to the main square, but quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious with 3 balconies and lovely views of the town. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and quite filling. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect. Great location, a quiet and nice room, amazing and variety of choices of breakfast, and foremost, Luis at the reception gave me every information that I needed and was so kind. Definitely would like to stay here once again.

amazing hotel.

The hotel is the best one we stayed in in Colombia. The staff was amazing, especially Luis who took great care of us. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was great, and the views from our room stunning. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable An amazing experience. Would recommend very highly. The hotel can arrange transfers and tours and don't take any commission.

Over the top exceptional. One of the nicest hotels that I've ever stayed at.

Breakfast was outstanding. Location was great. The beds were very comfortable. The sheets on the beds were high end. The decorations throughout the hotel were unique and different. You could tell it was thoughtfully arranged. Down to the smallest detail. I was very impressed.

Room #9 was less expensive for a reason. It was still very clean and comfortable but noisy.

Place to be in salento!

This hotel is a gem! It is situated on a slope and has a wonderful little garden. The house is built with a lot of attention to detail and you feel right at home. We had the room with the perfect view of Salento. Margarita is a great hostess and is very attentive and helpful. Here you have, above all, the best breakfast in Colombia! I can only recommend it!

Exceptional

My experience at Terrazas de Salento was great and very impressive. From the yard of the property you get the best view of the town, the public area of the house is pleasantly decorated, and the room is very comfortable and convenient. A lot of details are taken care of so that you feel very user-friendly. The host and all of the staffs are very hospitable and polite, plus they are really helpful to give you advice about the town and the surrounding area. The breakfast was good with a lot of options.

The only thing is you have to climb up the hill for a little bit to get here but essentially you have to climb very often to travel in this area, and bonus it is closer to the overlook.

A beautiful, tranquil spot in Salento

Our experience at Las Terrazas was incredible. The property and rooms are beautiful, spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. We loved the location a little bit outside of the main square of Salento but an easy walk. Best of all of the location is the breath-taking valley & mountain views from the front gardens. We also greatly appreciated the warmth, kindness, and helpfulness of all the staff. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Fabulous

The hotel rooms had exceptional views. The beds were perfect. Not too soft and not too hard. The quality of the sheets were high quality and I especially appreciated that they did not use scented detergent. The details of the lobby are high end. Beautiful rugs on the wall, the brass soap dish in the bathroom, the table runners from Turkey, the white linen Norwegian hardanger, baskets from Panama and many more. It was fun to look at all the details. Even the silverware was of high quality. The hotel staff were very helpful and I appreciated their excellent English. They were very helpful. And of course the breakfast was amazing. We could order from an extensive menu. Bravo! The coffee farm that they recommended was the best! If we needed transportation for any of our activities, the staff helped us.

Room 8 was not in a good location so I understand the lower price. It was noisy and you could hear water running in pipes that were near the room. We had two other rooms so that was ok but I would not stay in this one again. But if there was only this room available, I would stay in it in a heartbeat. The hotel was worth it.

Paradise in Salento with the kindest staff!

This hotel is truly amazing! It has such a calm and peaceful vibe and has so many beautiful plants that you feel as if the house was planted on top of a jungle. All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms are spacious and cozy, the showers have hot water, and the location is perfect - a few minutes walk to the main part of the city (close, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle). We absolutely loved our stay here, and loved Salento in general. We can’t wait to come back!
